Ingleside Retirement Apartments
Ingleside Retirement Apartments, a fifteen-story high-rise complex in the heart of Wilmington Delaware, houses residents age 62 or older. Residents can choose from one, two, or three room style apartments. Please feel free to view our pricing structure.
Services and Amenities
Security
Twenty-four hour in house security is in place and residents are provided with alarm pendants that connect directly to the front desk in case of accident or emergency.
Dining
Ingleside provides residents with three meals daily in our dining facilities and delivery to the rooms of residents who are ill. Guest meals and catering services are available at an additional cost.
Housekeeping
Services include weekly apartment cleanings and sanitization of bathroom facilities.
Maintenance
Our on-site maintenance staff is available to perform preventative and as-needed repairs.
Transportation
Ingleside provides transportation for medical appointments, shopping, theaters, restaurants, and all other outings at a reasonable fee. Residents are also welcome to keep their vehicle on the premises.
Amenities
Residents have access to our library which is stocked with games, cards, puzzles, and other activities. Video Eye Machines are available for assistance with reading. Residents also have access to a large furnished lounge with computer and internet access as well as fully furnished front and back patios. We have a full service beauty salon on site as well as laundry facilities. Also available is the resident run gift shop where merchandise is provided at a reduced cost.
Wellness
Our professional nursing staff is available eight hours a day, Monday through Friday as well as 4 hours a day Saturday, Sunday, and holidays. Our staff members are trained to work as a liaison between residents, doctors’ offices, and families in order to make sure residents receive the best care possible. Staff is also available to schedule medical transportation.
Activities
A weekly calendar is provided in collaboration with the onsite Down’s Cultural Center providing a variety of activities including dance, fitness, educational opportunities, special programs, trips, cumputer access and Wii Bowling leagues!
Additional Services
Resident Services coordinators on site:
- provide general assistance and advocacy related to supportive and social services
- develop and maintain relationships with community resources
- act as a liaison with local care providers, hospitals, medicare, Medicaid, and insurers
- work cooperatively with our residents and their families to ensure their well being
- promote a positive social climate that fosters residents’ psychosocial well being
